3. Disconnect the positive and negative poles of the diesel generator battery from the starter motor and charge the battery to keep it fully charged;

4. Add enough antifreeze to the radiator to prevent the engine from rusting or being damaged in cold seasons, especially in Northeast China where the temperature is too low in winter, which is easy to crack the pipelines;

5. The diesel generator room should be kept dry, clean, and anti-theft and fire prevention work should be done during the storage period of the generator;

6. The fuel in the fuel filter of the diesel generator and the fuel in the engine oil passage should be drained to prevent the water in the fuel from inducing rust and seizure of the fuel injection nozzle;

7. When the diesel generator is stored for a long time without use, all the used lubricating oil (engine oil) should be drained to prevent the used oil from deteriorating and thickening, which cannot play the role of lubricating the engine. Then add new engine oil to the specified scale line.
