1. Ensure cleanliness during generator set replacement and repair assembly. If mechanical impurities, dust, and sludge are mixed inside the engine body during assembly, it will not only accelerate the wear of parts but also easily cause oil circuit blockage, leading to accidents such as bearing burning and shaft seizure. Therefore, attention should be paid to ensuring the cleanliness of parts when replacing and repairing diesel engines.

2. Different oversized parts (accessories) of the same model are not universal. When using the repair size method, oversized parts can be selected, but it is necessary to identify which level of oversized parts they are. If the size of the parts is not well controlled during the replacement and repair of the diesel generator, it will not only waste time but also fail to ensure the repair quality, greatly reduce the service life of the bearing bush, and in severe cases, the generator set will be scrapped as a whole.

3. Pay attention to assembly technical requirements during diesel generator replacement and repair. Repair personnel generally attach great importance to the valve clearance and bearing clearance of the generator, but some technical requirements are often ignored. For example, when installing the cylinder liner of the generator set, the upper plane should be about 0.1mm higher than the engine body plane; otherwise, cylinder air leakage or continuous cylinder gasket damage will occur.

4. Pay attention to the paired replacement of some matching parts during diesel generator set replacement and repair. For example, the three major precision pairs, such as injector needle valve pairs, plunger pairs, and delivery valve pairs, should be replaced in pairs, which can generally be done. However, other accessories are not replaced in pairs. For example, when replacing gears, only the one with severe wear is replaced. After assembly, due to poor meshing, noise increases, wear intensifies, and the service life will be greatly shortened.
