2.Adhere to the sequence: external components first, then internal ones; accessories first, then the main body; connecting parts first, then individual components; assemblies first, then sub-assemblies, combinations, and parts.

Disassembly Precautions for Shanghai Qianneng Diesel Generator Sets

Do not forcefully disassemble non-removable parts; understand the specific structure of the component first.

2.Bolt/Nut Removal Sequence: When loosening bolts or nuts on components like cylinder heads, connecting rod bearing caps, and main bearing caps, follow a symmetrical and uniform sequence, loosening in 2–3 stages. Never loosen all nuts/bolts on one side first, as uneven force may cause deformation or cracking.

3.Marking Verification: Carefully mark components such as timing gears, pistons, connecting rods, bearings, valves, and adjustment shims. Note existing marks or create new ones on visible non-working surfaces without damaging assembly reference planes, preserving the original assembly relationships. For parts like wire connectors between the engine and generator, use paint, engraving, or tags for labeling.

4.Tool Usage and Force Control: Avoid excessive hammering; use appropriate tools, especially special tools. For example, use piston ring pliers to remove pistons and spark plug sockets for spark plugs, applying moderate force to prevent hand injuries and component damage.
