Due to different usage environments and requirements, diesel generator sets have various types. Today, we will explain the supporting technical parameters of diesel engines and generators for different types of diesel generator sets.

1.Mobile Generator Set Diesel Engine and Generator Supporting Parameters:

Complete set type: Generator set (including diesel engine, motor control box, etc.), trailer-mounted, vehicle-mounted.

Application site: Mobile communication or mobile backup power supply.

Continuous working time: 12-72 hours.

Working environment: Temperature -40 to 40°C, humidity 95%, altitude 0-2000m.

Installation location: Inside the carriage, open air, tunnel.

1.1 Supporting power ≤ 200kW, speed: 1500r/min.

Speed regulation requirements: Instantaneous speed regulation rate <7%, transient speed regulation rate <3%, speed fluctuation rate <0.5%.

Matching power: 12-hour power.

1.2 Supporting power: 200-1500kW, speed: 1000r/min, 1500r/min.

Speed regulation requirements: Instantaneous speed regulation rate <10%, transient speed regulation rate <5%, speed fluctuation rate <0.5%.

Matching power: 12-hour power.

Matching rate: 1.18-1.32.

2.Fixed Generator Set Diesel Engine and Generator Supporting Parameters:

Complete set type: Fixed installation.

Application site: Marine auxiliary machinery control and lighting power supply.

Continuous working time: ≥72 hours.

Working environment: Temperature 5 to 45°C, humidity 95%, altitude 0m. Installation location: Engine room.

Supporting power: 60-1000kW, speed: 750, 500r/min.

Speed regulation requirements: Instantaneous speed regulation rate <10%, transient speed regulation rate <5%, speed fluctuation rate <0.5%.

Matching power: Continuous power.

Matching rate: 1.10-1.18.

The above are three commonly used types with the following load characteristics:

① Constant speed, variable load continuous operation with short-term overload.

② Quick start and load operation (10-18 seconds).

③ With impact loads, such as sudden addition and subtraction of 100%, short-term overcurrent of 50%-100%, short circuit, and starting asynchronous motors.
