1. The allowable temperature rise of the motor bearing is generally 60 °C, and the temperature of the bearing is often checked, which can usually be measured by a mercury thermometer or an alcohol thermometer. But it can also be checked by touch. If the hand can closely contact the bearing cover for a long time, it means that the bearing operation has not exceeded the allowable temperature rise.

2. Always monitor whether there is abnormal noise during the operation of the bearing. When the bearing is running normally, there should be a uniform humming sound, and there should be no other noise. If a shock is heard, one or more balls may be crushed. If you hear a squeaking sound, it means that the lubricating oil of the bearing is insufficient.

3. Keep the bearing seal in good condition to avoid dust intrusion, reduce bearing wear and prevent oil leakage, so as to avoid poor bearing lubrication.

4. The lubricating grease of the bearing should be kept clean and sufficient. After the motor rolling bearing runs for 2500~3000h, the lubricating grease should be replaced, and the oil should be added once after running for 1000~1500h. When replacing the bearing lubricating grease, use gasoline (or kerosene) to clean the bearing and bearing cover. The amount of lubricating grease should not exceed 2/3 of the bearing volume, and should be reduced to 1/2 for motors with a speed of more than 2000r/min.
