The structure of the diesel filter is roughly the same as that of the oil filter. There are replaceable and spin-on types. 1. First, pull out the oil outlet pipe of the oil-water filter element from the oil suction pipe of the engine. Otherwise, the water may flow back to the engine when the water is discharged.

2. Close the cover of the oil-water filter element by hand, otherwise the fuel will spill out of the filter.

3. Then use a wrench to open the exhaust port of the oil-water filter element so that the water can flow out.

4. Then unscrew the small cap of the oil-water filter element to open the water valve, so that the water flows out.

In addition to draining water frequently, the diesel filter should also be replaced regularly. If it is not replaced for a long time, the diesel filter will be blocked, which will cause some adverse effects, such as insufficient fuel supply, difficulty in starting, and even in the exhaust gas.
