Diesel Fuel Injection Inspection Methods
1.Perform sliding and sealing tests on the plunger coupling. First, tilt the plunger coupling at a 45-degree angle, pull out the cylindrical surface matching the plunger by approximately 1/3, and rotate the plunger once. Then align the piston's inclined groove with the return oil hole, and use your fingers to block the large end face of the plunger sleeve and the oil inlet hole. When the plunger end face reaches the edge of the return hole, if oil foam and bubbles appear, it does not meet the standard and needs adjustment.
2.Check the sealing cone of the oil outlet seat for scars, dents, and wear. Minor damage can be repaired; if severe, the seat should be replaced. If the nylon washer of the delivery valve matching part is severely deformed, the nylon washer should also be replaced.
3.Check if the shoulder plane of the plunger coupling installed on the fuel injection pump body is deformed. Any unevenness will affect the verticality of the plunger sleeve installation and the tightness of the shoulder interface, leading to poor plunger sliding and fuel leakage.
4.Inspect the wear of the fuel injection pump valve hole and camshaft. If wear is severe, they can be replaced.
5.If the flyweight angle and flyweight pin hole are severely worn, they should be replaced. After replacement, the mass difference between the two flyweights must not exceed 1g.
6.Other components with severe wear, defects, fractures, etc., should be replaced.
Diesel Fuel Injection Cleaning
Before cleaning the fuel injection system, it is necessary to know how to disassemble it, and then clean each component of the fuel injection system step by step.
Loosen the pressure adjusting nut, unscrew the pressure adjusting screw, then clamp the fuel injector in a vice and loosen the fuel injection sealing cap. Then, take out the remaining parts and clean them with clean diesel or gasoline. Use a drill bit or steel wire of the corresponding size to unclog the oil injection holes and oil passages. Finally, put the injector nozzle matching parts into diesel and pull the needle valve back and forth to clean it, ensuring the needle valve can slide freely.
