Electric Welding Generators
Dingbo manufactures welding generators — also known as welder generators or engine-driven welders — ranging from 120 amps to 600 amps, available in both diesel and gasoline configurations. Each unit combines a stick (ARC/MMA) welding power source with a built-in AC generator, so you get a stable welding arc and auxiliary power for grinders, lights, drills, or pumps from a single machine — no separate generator required on site.
Diesel vs. Gasoline Welding Generator — Which Should You Choose?
Diesel welding generators (our 200A–600A range) are built for continuous, heavy-duty use — pipeline welding, structural steel work, and extended field repairs where duty cycle and engine longevity matter most. Diesel models deliver lower fuel consumption per hour of operation and hold up better under sustained high-amperage welding.
Gasoline welding generators (our 120A–300A range) are lighter, more compact, and easier to start — a practical choice for occasional repair work, small construction crews, or applications where minimizing weight and upfront cost matters more than continuous-duty performance.
Choosing the Right Amperage
Lower-amperage welding generators (120A–200A) handle thin-to-medium gauge steel and general maintenance and repair work. Mid-range units (200A–400A) cover most construction and fabrication applications. Our 400A–600A welding generators are built for thick-plate structural welding and demanding pipeline work requiring a high duty cycle.
Built for Reliability in the Field
Every Dingbo welding generator uses a 100% copper-wound alternator for stable arc performance and a longer service life, paired with adjustable amperage control for precise welding current across the rated range. Open-frame and silent canopy configurations are both available depending on your noise and environment requirements.
As a manufacturer of both complete diesel generator sets and dedicated welding generators, Dingbo serves customers across pipeline construction, structural steel fabrication, equipment maintenance and repair, and remote field service work.
