Two Adjustment Methods For Injection Advance Angle Of Diesel Generator

The fuel injection advance angle must be checked and adjusted every time the diesel generator works for 500h or after each disassembly and assembly. (1) The first method is to remove the high-pressure oil pipe of the first cylinder and turn the crankshaft to make the piston of the first cylinder at the beginning of the expansion stroke. At this time, the pointer on the flywheel housing is aligned with the "0" scale on the flywheel. Then reverse the crankshaft of the diesel generator, align the pointer on the inspection window with the specified angle of the fuel injection advance angle on the flywheel, and then loosen the two fastening screws on the fuel injection pump drive shaft joint and plate. According to the rotation direction of the fuel injection pump, slowly and evenly turn the camshaft of the fuel injection pump until the oil level at the oil outlet of the first cylinder just fluctuates, and tighten the two screws on the junction plate.

(2) The second method is to remove the high-pressure oil pipe of the first cylinder, turn the crankshaft so that the piston of the first cylinder is about 40 ° before the compression end point, and then turn the crankshaft slowly and evenly according to the rotation direction of the diesel generator. At the same time, pay close attention to the oil level at the oil outlet of the first cylinder of the fuel injection pump. When the oil level just fluctuates, it means that the injection of the first cylinder begins. At this time, the scale value on the flywheel aligned by the pointer on the inspection window is the injection advance angle.

 

If the angle is not consistent with the specified range, loosen the two screws on the adapter plate, and turn the camshaft of the fuel injection pump over the angle to be adjusted (the scale on the adapter plate of the transmission shaft, each is equal to 3 ° of the crankshaft angle). If the advance angle is too small, the camshaft will rotate according to the running direction. If the advance angle is too large, turn it in the opposite direction of operation, then tighten the two screws on the hinge plate, and check again until it meets the specified range.

 

Sometimes, check that the injection advance angle is slightly different from the specified value. It is not necessary to loosen the connecting plate and turn the camshaft of the injection pump, but just loosen the four mounting screws of the injection pump slightly to make the injection pump body slightly rotate to adjust. Its rotation direction should be the opposite to the second method. After adjustment, tighten the screws. Generally speaking, after the injection advance angle of the first cylinder is adjusted correctly, the injection advance angle of other cylinders depends on the phase angle of each cam of the oil pump camshaft, and it is not necessary to check it separately.
