For units used in plain areas, the matching ratio is generally required to be 1.6:1; for some mobile power stations with higher requirements, the matching ratio is 2:1. The speed matching requirement is also strict. Speed is closely related to the unit's power, frequency, voltage, etc. Therefore, the diesel engine matched with the generator must have a governor with good performance and reliable operation to ensure that the generator can reach its rated speed in a short time and run stably, and also meet the speed regulation requirements when the load changes.
