Most diesel generator oil path systems are equipped with bleed screws. To remove bubbles, simply loosen the bleed screw.

For engines without bleed screws, loosen the oil pipe joints to release air. First, purge air from the low-pressure oil path, then from the high-pressure path, until no bubbles remain in the entire system.

Bubbles should be eliminated progressively along the oil path. Tighten the bolts only after clean, bubble-free diesel flows out. If the oil flows smoothly without bubbles, the low-pressure path is intact, and the actual fault may lie in the high-pressure path.
