Safety Protection Shutdown Types

When a diesel generator set shuts down due to safety protection, the controller panel displays the shutdown protection type. The protection types include:

· Engine overspeed shutdown protection

· Extremely low oil pressure shutdown protection

· High water temperature shutdown protection

· Overcurrent and undervoltage protection

· Overload, short circuit, and phase loss protection

Control Panel Operation Diagram Explanation

The entire control panel consists of three parts: an LCD screen for displaying measurement parameters and operating status, public warning/fault indicator lights, and operation keys with control mode selection buttons. Key Functions

Page Button

· Page Information Display: Press this button to cycle through displayed information.

· Parameter Settings Access: Press and hold for 2 seconds to enter or exit the parameter settings menu.

Mute Button/Light Test

· Mute Function: When the controller triggers a warning or fault, the alarm buzzer sounds. Press this button to stop the buzzer; press again to cancel mute. If the fault persists, the buzzer will resume. A mute symbol appears on the LCD when mute is active.

· Light Test: Press and hold for 2 seconds to activate all indicator lights simultaneously.

Auto Mode Button/Indicator/Parameter Increase "+" Key

· Auto Mode Setting: Used to set the automatic operation mode. The LED indicator above the button lights up when the controller is in auto mode. The generator starts/stops based on the "remote start signal" status.

· Parameter Settings: In parameter setting mode, this key increases values or moves selection downward.

Manual Mode Button/Indicator/Parameter Decrease "-" Key

· Manual Mode Setting: Used to set the manual operation mode. The LED indicator above the button lights up when the controller is in manual mode. The generator starts/stops via the "START" and "STOP" keys.

· Parameter Settings: In parameter setting mode, this key decreases values or moves selection upward.

Test Mode Button/Indicator/Parameter Confirm "√" Key

· Test Mode Setting: Used to set the test operation mode. The LED indicator above the button lights up when in test mode. The controller simulates a valid "remote start signal" to start the generator.

· Parameter Settings: In parameter setting mode, this key enters submenus or confirms modifications.

Start Button/Indicator/Parameter Up Key

· Manual Start: Used to manually start the generator. When in manual mode, press this key to start the generator.

· Parameter Settings: In parameter setting mode, this key returns to the previous menu.

Stop/Reset Button/Indicator/Parameter Shift Key

· Manual Stop: Used to manually stop the generator. In manual mode, press and hold for over 2 seconds to stop the unit.

· Fault Reset: Briefly press this key to lift fault shutdown lock when a fault is present.

· Mode Switch: Regardless of the current mode, press and hold for over 2 seconds to stop the generator and automatically switch to manual mode.

· Parameter Settings: In parameter setting mode, this key shifts the editable digit.

Switch On/Off Button

· In manual mode, used to switch the generator power supply on or off.

Indicator Lights

· Fault Indicator Light: Illuminates when the controller detects a shutdown fault.

· Warning Indicator Light: Illuminates when the controller triggers a warning.

· Generator Normal Indicator Light: Illuminates when generator voltage and frequency reach rated levels for load operation.

· Generator Switch-On Indicator Light: Illuminates when the generator switch is closed (power supply active) or when switch-on fails.
