1.Frost Cracking

This is one of the most common issues in winter. Cracks in the engine block can only be repaired by cold welding on unstressed parts. First, drill stop-crack holes at both ends of the crack, then embed several iron nails along the crack, followed by attaching repair plates perpendicular to the crack. Finally, weld firmly along the crack and repair plates using low-carbon steel. During welding, tap the weld with a hammer, and flame straightening can be applied afterward.

2.Sliding or Damage of Cylinder Head Bolt Holes

This typically occurs due to excessive force when tightening cylinder head nuts. For single-thread hole sliding, re-tap the threads and machine matching cylinder head bolts. 3.Sand Holes

First, expand the hole with a wire tap, then plug it with aluminum wire or seal it via spot welding.

Increase the bearing outer ring by symmetrically welding steel wires onto it using oxy-fuel welding, then file to adjust and press-fit into the bearing hole.

Alternatively, create a 50mm inner-diameter flat washer from 2mm thick iron plate, drill three threaded holes in the washer and engine body, and secure with flat-head screws.

For severe wear: Bore the original hole, insert a bushing, and fix it with three screws at the joint between the bushing and the body.
