Injectors

1.Once an injector is removed after installation, a new O - ring seal must be used for reinstallation.

2.The three O - ring seals of the injectors for LTA10, NTA855, VTA28, KTAA19 - G2A (CPL1170), and KTA19 - G4 (CPL4153) are identical, with the part number: 193736.

3.The three O - ring seals of the injectors for KTA50 - G3, KTAA19 - G2 (CPL739), KTA38 - G3, and G5 are different, with part numbers 193736, 205216, and 3010510 respectively.

4.Poor sealing of the injector O - ring or malfunction of the STC valve can cause diesel to leak into the oil pan.

Cylinder Heads

1.If the diesel engine's water channels rupture and leak due to overheating caused by water shortage, it's highly likely that cracks will form at the valve seat area of the cylinder head, and the rubber rings of the injector copper sleeves will melt at high temperatures. Cylinder heads with cracks should be discarded.

2.The copper sleeves and rubber rings of the injectors may break after long - term operation. If there is water in the oil pan or on the piston tops, check the bottom plane of the cylinder head for cracks and the injector copper sleeves and rubber rings for damage.

3.If significant oil leakage from the cylinder head is detected before maintenance, the cylinder head plane should be ground (sent to Dongguan Liansheng Grinding Machine for processing). The maximum grinding allowance for the cylinder head is 1mm. It is recommended to limit each grinding amount to 0.10mm. The minimum thickness of the bottom of the N - series cylinder head is 110.24mm, and that of the K - series is 119.76mm.

4.During major overhauls of the generator set, all water plugs in the cylinder heads should be thoroughly inspected. If any water plugs are damaged, it is recommended to replace all water plugs in the cylinder heads of the entire generator.
