The working principle of the diesel generator set governor: when the diesel engine works in a stable condition, the centrifugal force of the flying iron is balanced with the tension of the speed regulating spring and the frictional force of the whole set of operating mechanisms, so the flying iron, the speed regulating lever and the various parts are balanced. If the mutual position between them remains unchanged, the fuel supply of the fuel injection pump remains unchanged, and the diesel engine of the diesel generator set runs stably at a certain speed; when the load of the diesel engine decreases, the fuel supply of the fuel injection pump is greater than the demand of the diesel engine, so the speed of the diesel engine If the height increases, the centrifugal force of the flying iron is greater than the pulling force of the speed-adjusting spring, the balance springs of the two are stretched, the adjusting gear rod of the fuel injection pump moves to the right, the fuel supply decreases, and the speed decreases until the centrifugal force of the flying iron is equal to the current value.
When the load of the diesel engine increases, the fuel supply of the fuel injection pump is less than the demand of the diesel engine, which causes the rotation speed to decrease. The centrifugal force of the flying iron is less than the pulling force of the speed regulating spring. As the amount increases, the rotational speed returns to the time when the centrifugal force of the flying iron and the pulling force of the speed regulating spring reach a balance again.
