There are three spring sheets in the speed regulating gear part, which can buffer the sudden change of speed. Due to the increased speed of the speed-regulating flying iron, its external dimensions can be smaller. Two flying irons of equal weight are mounted on the flying iron base by the flying iron pins. The telescopic shaft is against the roller in the speed-adjusting lever part, the speed-adjusting lever is connected with the gear rod of the fuel injection pump, one end of the speed-adjusting spring is hung on the speed-adjusting lever, and the other end is hung on the speed-adjusting spring rocker, and the swinging rocker can Adjust the tension of the governor spring.

The governor joystick has three forms according to different uses of the diesel engine, among which the micro-adjustment joystick is used for in-line diesel engines (such as diesel generator sets) that require more accurate rotational speed. There is a high-speed limit screw on the operating mechanism, which is used to limit the maximum speed of the diesel engine of the diesel generator set, that is, the handle position when the maximum tension of the speed regulating spring is limited. When the diesel engine of the diesel generator set leaves the factory, the screw has been adjusted and sealed with lead, and the user is not allowed to change it at will.

A low-speed stabilizer is installed at the rear end of the governor of the diesel generator set, which can be used to adjust the instability of the diesel engine of the diesel generator set at low speed. Due to the installation position, the tachometer transmission joint is only provided on the rear casing of the governor of the six-cylinder in-line diesel engine. There is a parking handle on the front shell of the governor. When the diesel engine stops or needs an emergency stop, turn the parking handle to the right to make an emergency stop. The governor lubricating oil is not connected with the fuel injection pump. When refueling, it is injected from the oil filler port of the upper cover plate of the governor, and the oil is added until the oil overflows from the oil plane screw hole.

The working principle of the diesel generator set governor: when the diesel engine works in a stable condition, the centrifugal force of the flying iron is balanced with the tension of the speed regulating spring and the frictional force of the whole set of operating mechanisms, so the flying iron, the speed regulating lever and the various parts are balanced. If the mutual position between them remains unchanged, the fuel supply of the fuel injection pump remains unchanged, and the diesel engine of the diesel generator set runs stably at a certain speed; when the load of the diesel engine decreases, the fuel supply of the fuel injection pump is greater than the demand of the diesel engine, so the speed of the diesel engine If the height increases, the centrifugal force of the flying iron is greater than the pulling force of the speed-adjusting spring, the balance springs of the two are stretched, the adjusting gear rod of the fuel injection pump moves to the right, the fuel supply decreases, and the speed decreases until the centrifugal force of the flying iron is equal to the current value.

When the load of the diesel engine increases, the fuel supply of the fuel injection pump is less than the demand of the diesel engine, which causes the rotation speed to decrease. The centrifugal force of the flying iron is less than the pulling force of the speed regulating spring. As the amount increases, the rotational speed returns to the time when the centrifugal force of the flying iron and the pulling force of the speed regulating spring reach a balance again. At this time, the diesel engine is stably running at a certain speed slightly lower than that before the load increase (the position of the handle of the diesel engine governor remains unchanged, and the speed of the new stable operating point after the load changes depends on the speed of the governor used, and The speed regulation of different types of diesel engines is determined according to different use requirements), if you want to strictly return to the original speed, you need to adjust the governor control handle.
