After cleaning, an inspection should be carried out. The inspection method is to use a light bulb to illuminate from the inside out and observe the outside of the filter element. If light spots are found, it indicates that the filter element has perforated, and the filter element of the same model should be replaced at this time. If no light spots appear, it indicates that the filter element is not perforated, and the air filter should be carefully installed at this time.

When installing the filter element, ensure that the filter element sits on the gasket at the outlet end of the air filter. The air filter resistance should be checked under the diesel engine's rated operating conditions. If the air filter is equipped with a maintenance indicator, check it. If it shows red, it indicates that the air filter has reached the service limit, and the air filter element should be cleaned or replaced immediately. After processing, press the button switch on the end of the maintenance indicator to reset it.
